2026 Flooding – Service in Times of Crisis

Nepal is facing devastating floods and landslides in several area, leaving communities in urgent need of medical care and essential supplies.

Dhulikhel Hospital has mobilized a rescue and medical team with essential medicines and emergency supplies and established a response base at our Outreach Center in the affected area of Nuwakol.

We are preparing additional medical teams to provide timely healthcare, medicines, hygiene and sanitation materials, emergency referrals, and support for the prevention and management of potential disease outbreaks. We are working closely with government authorities, local communities, and humanitarian partners to support affected families through healthcare, rehabilitation, psychological support, and recovery.

Rescue & Emergency Response

Disease Outbreak Prevention

As communities face increased risks following flooding, our teams are supporting disease surveillance, safe water and sanitation, prevention of waterborne disease, health education and essential healthcare services.

Rehabilitation & Recovery

Our response will extend beyond the immediate emergency to include rehabilitation, mental health and psychological support, continuity of care, and community-based recovery services.
